Invite teammates

Invite people to your workspace by email, and manage the invitations you've sent.

Written by Jack Meyers

Invite your product team and your builders, so everyone plans and builds in the same workspace. Only workspace admins can invite people.

Open the Members page

  1. Click your picture at the bottom right to open the account menu.

  2. Click Workspace settings. Only admins see this item.

  3. The Members page opens.

Send an invitation

  1. Click Invite member.

  2. Type the person's email address. You can invite one person at a time.

  3. Under Role, choose Member or Admin. See Change roles and remove members.

  4. Click Send invitation.

Grove shows "Invitation sent to" and the email address. If that person already has a pending invitation, Grove sends it again.

What your teammate gets

They get an email with a link to join the workspace. When they accept and sign in, they land on the workspace's Queue. See Sign in and join your workspace.

Send builders Quick start for builders too, so they can set up the Grove CLI.

Manage pending invitations

Click the Pending invitations tab. Each invitation shows the email address, the role, who sent it, and when it expires.

Click ... on an invitation to:

  • Resend invitation: sends a new link. The old link stops working, and the expiry starts again.

  • Cancel invitation: the link stops working. To invite them later, send a new invitation.

For an expired invitation, the options are Reinvite and Remove.
