Grove has three main pages: Queue, Work, and Strategy. Grove's chat sits beside every page, and a bar at the bottom of the screen holds your chats and your account.
The layout
Grove's chat is on the left side of the screen. Type a question, a problem, or an idea in the box at the bottom, and Grove answers. The chat stays open as you move between pages.
The main page is on the right. Use the Queue, Work, and Strategy tabs at the top to move between the main pages.
The bar at the bottom holds your chats with Grove. Ask Grove opens a chat about your whole workspace. The button next to it starts a new chat. Chats you have open appear as tabs, and Recent shows your earlier chats. Your picture, at the far right, opens your account menu.
Queue
The Queue is your starting page. It shows what needs you, so you can start your day there.
Under Needs attention, you'll find:
Chats where Grove is waiting for your answer.
Threads where someone is waiting for your reply.
Get Grove ready for your team, a four-step setup checklist. Only workspace admins see it.
When nothing needs you, the Queue says so, and suggests places to start.
Work
Work shows every initiative and project in your workspace, in tables.
Your work shows only the work you lead or help build. All work shows everything in the workspace.
Switch between the Initiatives and Projects tables at the top left.
Use the buttons next to them to search, filter, and change how the table looks: grouping, sorting, and columns.
Click a row to preview the initiative or project without leaving the table.
Click New work to start a new initiative.
Strategy
Strategy holds four documents that your whole product shares: Target Personas, Product Vision, Product Strategy, and Competitive Landscape. Grove reads them whenever it plans new work, so it can check new ideas against your strategy.
Grove writes these documents with you. To start, ask Grove: "Help me set up our product strategy."
Inside an initiative or a project
Click an initiative or a project to open it. A sidebar on the left shows everything that belongs to it:
Overview: its status, people, dates, and projects or outcomes.
Threads: its conversations.
Plan: its official documents, such as Opportunity and Solution, Scope, and Requirements.
Scratchpad: working notes, visuals, and decision guides.
Projects: the projects inside an initiative.
Your account menu
Click your picture at the bottom right to open your account menu.
Edit: open your account page. There you can see your profile, change your password, and set up two-factor sign-in.
Switch workspace: move to another workspace you belong to. You see it only if you belong to more than one.
Workspace settings: manage members and GitHub. Only workspace admins see it.
Connect your agent: connect Grove to your own AI assistant or coding agent.
Get help: chat with the Grove team.
Log out: sign out of Grove.
