Check your Queue

See what's waiting on you, answer it, and find your way in when nothing is assigned to you yet.

Written by Jack Meyers

The Queue is your starting page. It shows only what's waiting on you, so you can clear it and get back to planning. Click Queue at the top of any page.

Needs attention

Needs attention lists what's waiting on you. The number next to it is how many items there are.

  • Threads waiting on you. One card for each initiative, with the threads that wait longest first. Each row shows the project, its status, and how long it has waited. Click a row, and Grove opens a discussion of that project's open threads. See Talk a thread through with Grove.

  • Chats where Grove asked you something. Each shows when Grove asked. Click Respond to go back to that chat and answer.

  • The setup checklist, for workspace admins. See below.

When nothing is waiting, the Queue says You're caught up.

The setup checklist (admins)

Workspace admins see Get Grove ready for your team at the top of the Queue. Its four steps:

  1. Connect your code: click Connect GitHub, or Skip.

  2. Set up your product strategy: click Set up with Grove.

  3. Plan your first initiative: click Plan with Grove.

  4. Connect your coding agents: click Connect agents, then Mark done.

When all four steps are done, the checklist leaves your Queue. See Quick start for product leads.

When nothing is assigned to you yet

If you don't lead or work on anything yet, the Queue says Nothing is waiting on you yet. It offers three ways in:

  • Plan out a new idea with Grove: Grove helps you shape a new idea.

  • Browse what the team is working on: Grove sums up the team's work, and opens Work › Initiatives.

  • See what's ready to be built: Grove lists up to five projects that are ready to build, highest priority first, and opens Work › Projects. It changes nothing.

These buttons are inactive while Grove is replying.

What isn't on the Queue

The Queue shows threads and chats only. To see all your work, go to Work › Your work. See Use the Work tables. Outcomes that are ready for review show on each project's page. See Review shipped work and mark outcomes done.
